For childcare owners with two or more centers
You have outgrown running every center yourself.
I help childcare owners build the structure to grow without losing control of the quality, culture, and care that made them successful.
I'm Brooks Jones, a second-generation childcare operator in Texas. I still operate childcare centers today, and I help other owners go from running centers personally to leading a multi-site organization.

I don't consult about childcare from the sidelines.
45 years
family operating childcare in Texas
11 centers today
across six brands
Over 1,600 children
enrolled today in our centers
About 275 team members
today, across our centers
10+ years with TLCCA
Board member for over a decade, now conference chair and membership co-chair, and I helped start the West Texas affiliate
Still operating today.
I have led schools at two, three, and four stars under Texas Rising Star.
Read the case study: knowing when to grow, when to consolidate, and when to pivotIf any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone.
“I can't keep doing all of this myself.”
“My phone is the operating system.”
“I have three centers, but it feels like three little companies sharing a logo.”
What worked when you could see every classroom yourself does not work the same way across several sites. The answer is not working harder. It is building the leaders, systems, and consistency that let the organization run well without you carrying all of it.
50 to 70%
In my experience, many centers are sitting at 50 to 70 percent enrollment.
Money on the Table
In my experience, many centers are sitting at 50 to 70 percent enrollment. I help operators understand what is keeping them from the 85 to 100 percent range and what to do about it.
Start with a quick look at your own numbers. The free Texas Revenue Opportunity Tool walks through enrollment, payer mix, subsidy rates, and the food program. Everything stays in your browser.
Is this a fit?
Who this is for
- Childcare owners with two or more centers.
- Owners who have outgrown running things personally and want the structure to lead a multi-site organization.
Who this is not for
- First-time center openers.
- Owners looking for someone to run their centers day to day. I advise and plan. I do not provide embedded or on-call management.
Building the company behind the centers
You do not need another center. You need an organization that can operate all of them.

Building software for childcare?
I buy, evaluate, and use childcare software as an operator. I can tell you how operators actually decide and where products miss the reality of a center.

- 2
A short intro call

You receive a clear written scope with what is included and what it costs. Once it is agreed, we get to work.
Common questions
What is included?
It depends on the service. An assessment includes a look across your facilities, leadership, compliance, systems, culture, enrollment, and team, and ends with a 90-Day Plan of Action. An advisory retainer includes regular advising calls and email access, with the details covered in our agreement. Every engagement starts with a written scope so you know exactly what you are getting.
Do you travel?
Yes. Assessments usually include time at your centers. Travel is billed separately and is spelled out in the written scope.
How many clients do you take?
A small number at a time, so each one gets real attention. Availability is limited.
Do you do hands-on management?
No. I provide assessments, plans, and advising only. I do not run centers day to day or provide embedded or on-call management.
Is pricing negotiable?
Pricing depends on the number of sites and the scope of the work, and travel is billed separately. The written scope sets the final price before any work begins.
